The National Monuments Service's description

In the graveyard (TS070-040044-) of the Augustinian abbey (TS070-040004-), standing against the external N wall of the N transept, the fourth from the W of a row of graveslabs. A slab (H above ground 1.52m; Wth 0.97m; average T 0.19m) in good condition with roll-mouldings on the dexter side. Its surface has a broad border (Wth 0.15-0.17m) with a three-armed cross in relief. 'The transerverse terminals of the cross end in trefoils while the upper terminal merges with the border. Three cross-bands occur at the base of the cross-head, surmounting the cross-shaft. A similar motif occurs at the base of the shaft, surmounting a pillar-base form. The sol et lunulae motif occurs at the top of the slab: the former occupying the dexter corner and the latter the sinister corner' (Maher 1997, 57). There is no indication of an inscription.
