In pasture at base of E-facing slope defined by stream to E. Sub-circular area (dims. 20m ENE-WSW; 32m NNW-SSE) defined by earthen bank (Wth 5.4m; int. H 1.25m; ext. H 1.25m) SE-W and by bank (Wth 5.7m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 0.4m) W-N. Straight side along stream to E eroded in places by water action. External fosse (basal Wth 1.4m; c. original total Wth 4.8m increased by water erosion to Wth 8.2m on exterior edge; D 1-1.7m) SE-W and fosse (basal Wth 1m; total Wth 2.5m; D 0.4m) W-N. Interior slopes down to E with prevalent slope. Entrance (Wth 4.5m) at WSW is covered in dead wood from fallen trees, it is decribed in 1980 (OPW files) as being 2m wide and the interior as being slightly waterlogged.
