The National Monuments Service's description
Just below the crest of a broad, flat-topped hill, on a gentle NE-facing slope in undulating terrain, under pasture. This rectangular church (dims. 8.8m N-S; 16m E-W) is very poorly preserved, being defined by an earthen bank (Wth crest 0.7m; Wth base 2.2m; H above int. 0.52; H above ext. 0.65m) with a slightly more pronounced fall to the exterior (H 1m) at the NE angle. There are rubble stones protruding from the bank and whitethorn trees growing along the inner face of the E bank and in the NW corner. There is no clear entrance feature. According to the OS Namebooks (O'Donovan et. al c. 1840) 'There are merely the walls now remaining. The font is in the centre of the ruins'. However, there is no indication of a font (TS070-002002-) and the current owners were not aware of a font associated with this church.
