The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (dims. 32m NE-SW) defined by low earthen bank (Wth 9m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.45m) reduced to scarp in places. External fosse (Wth 6m; D 0.7m) is well defined and waterlogged NE-E-S-SW. Outer bank (Wth 5.7m; int. H 1.0m; ext. H 0.45m) ENE-SE-S. Break (Wth 3.35m) in outer bank at ESE leads to depression on exterior, where run-off from fosse discharges. Breach (Wth 2.3m) also in inner bank at this location. Additional breaches (Wth 2-3m) in inner bank at W and N. According to Cahill (1982), there is a quern stone in the adjoining farmyard.
