The National Monuments Service's description

In rough, level pasture. This remains the only green area left in field at present as recently reclaimed and drained to W, E and S. No visible surface trace except a linear band (long-axis N-S) of light green moss at a similar location as the linear earthwork as it is depicted on the latest edition OS 6-inch map. There is no right return visible at N end as is depicted on map. Linear drain (long-axis N-S) dug to E of monument. Depicted on the latest edition OS 6-inch map as adjoining the E terminus of enclosure (TS069-011001-). According to Cahill (1982), evidence of a field system to W of enclosure (TS069-011001-).
