The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on gentle E-facing slope in rolling pastureland. This graveyard consists of an circular enclosure (TS068-026001-) which was subsequently enclosed within a rectangular enclosure (dims. 50m N-S; 37m E-W) defined by a stone wall (H c. 1.4m) capped with cement. There is a gate and double stile in the S wall and a stile in the middle of the E wall. The visibly legible headstones range in date from the 18th to the 21st century. The earliest dating to 1770 is located SE of the church and the latest dates to 2007. According to the OS letters (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 2, 169) 'there is a considerable number of headstones together with three monumental stones lying horizontally to be seen in the burial ground'. A fragment from an altar tomb was found among the rubble of the church. This fragment, originally from St. Patrick's Cathedral on the Rock of Cashel, is currently in the South Tipperary County Museum (TS083-019080-).
