The National Monuments Service's description

In the chancel of the Augustian abbey (TS068-013---) at Athassel, 11.25m from the E gable, partially under the tomb niche in the S wall. A tapering limestone slab (L 0.66m; Wth at top 0.5m; Wth at base 0.48m; D 0.17m), described by Maher (1997, 53) as having a chamfer (Wth 0.08m) on both edges and no evidence to suggest that it bore an inscription or design.
