The National Monuments Service's description
In the chancel of the Augustian abbey (TS068-013---) at Athassel, 6.9m from the E gable, lying against the N wall. The slab (L 0.41m; Wth 0.53m; D 0.2m) is described by Maher (1997, 53) as a somewhat weathered slab with a chamfer (Wth 0.09m) on both edges and no evidence to suggest that it bore an inscription or design.
