The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a gentle NE-facing slope in gently undulating terrain. Circular area (dims. c. 52m N-S; c. 53m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 4.9m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m) of earth and stone. Remains of church (TS068-009002-) named 'Templegobban' within centre of interior. Bank (Wth 4.9m; int. H 1m; ext. H 0.8m) curves from NE corner of church and continues in a wide arc E-S-W. Low bank (Wth 5.25m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 0.90m) continues W-N-ENE where it terminates. Arc of bank gone where truncated at N and area here modified. Gap (Wth c. 25m) ENE-E between the terminus of the two banks. Traces of a bank (L c. 20m) extend from W-end of church to bank of enclosure to W and a second low bank (L c. 20m) extend from S of church to enclosure at S. Third low bank (L c. 20.5m) extends from interior of enclosure bank at NE toward NE corner of church. Raised semi-circular area (dims. 10m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by gentle scarp is in N-sector of interior.
