The National Monuments Service's description
In the Civil Survey (1654-6) description of parish of Kilshane there is a reference to, ‘two plantn acres of Gleabland two gardens one thatcht house and few Cabbins joyneing by the Churchyard’ (Simington 1934, vol. 2, 27). The house may have been located close to Kilshane church (TS067-037----) and graveyard (TS067-037001-), but as the precise location is unknown, it is unlocated within the townland of Springhouse.
