The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on low rise. Good views all round. Circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) defined by earthen bank (Wth c. 10m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2.5m). Intervening fosse (Wth c. 10m; basal Wth 3m; D 1.5-2.5m) and traces of outer bank (Wth 3m; int. H 1.25m; ext. H 0.25m). Interior slopes down gently to S. Monument visible at W only due to dense vegetation cover. Badger activity in banks. Field boundary radiates from NW, ENE and SW of monument.
