The National Monuments Service's description

On a level area near the top of a SE-facing slope, in improved pasture. Identified during ASI fieldwork. An enclosure (TS066-170----) is located c. 32m to the NE. A standing stone (0.48m x 0.14m; H 1.65m), rectangular in plan and orientated NNW-SSE, possibly aligned with a peak in the Galtee Mountains to the SSE. The stone has a wedge-shaped point at its apex. Raised spots on the western elevation appear to be natural and notches at the SE angle appear man-made. There is a depression around the base of the stone due to cattle erosion.
