In improved pasture, on a gentle ENE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 30m N-S; 29m E-W) defined by remains of low scarp (Wth 1.7m; H 0.75m) best preserved NE-S-SW and more gradual (Wth 2.75m; H 0.3m) and levelled out SW-W-N-NE. Wide, flat-bottomed intervening fosse (basal Wth 3.3m; overall Wth 6.25m; H 0.25m) is best preserved NE-S-SW and has been backfilled and is more gradual (basal Wth 3.85m; overall Wth 8.3m; D 0.15m) SW-W-N-NE. An outer bank (top Wth 2.4m; overall Wth 5.4m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.65m) is present ENE-S-SW and stops abruptly at either end, where it has been truncated during the levelling process of the bank SW-W-N-NE. Potential remains of levelled bank NE-ENE appear to be preserved due to dog-leg in field boundary here. Interior level and featureless and tilts downslope slightly to ENE with prevalent slope. Interior ground level reduced D c. 0.25m around SW-arc and into SW-sector. There may have been an outer fosse, but earthen material (possibly from the levelled half of monument) has been banked up in places on exterior and interior of bank, encroaching into the intervening fosse and any potential outer fosse.
