The National Monuments Service's description

In rough pasture. Oval area (dims. 25m N-S; c. 30m E-W) defined by bank (Wth 2.75m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.75m) NE-ESE, which is reduced to a scarp (Wth 0.9m-3.3m; H 0.4-0.55m) WNW-N and SSE-SSW, an intervening fosse (Wth 5.65m; D 0.25m) NE-SSE and possible intervening bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.85m; ext. H 0.35m) at ENE and ESE, but this may have formed as a result of drainage activity of fosse area, and an outer fosse (Wth 1.3m) and substantial outer bank (Wth 5.9m; int. H 1m; ext. H 1.9m) from ESE-SW. The outer bank is flanked on exterior by a wide deep channel, is not depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map and may be a later drainage feature. The intervening fosse is waterlogged and is cut by a pond-like feature at E, which may be a later drainage sump. There are gaps (Wth c. 4-6m) in the intervening bank at the N-NE, E and SE. This possible ringfort has been truncated by the angle of field boundary (long axis NNW-SSE) across WSW-sector and has subsequently been eroded at NNW and SW where there is a rough trackway across the monument. The interior slopes downwards to ENE.
