The National Monuments Service's description

In improved, level pasture. Depicted on latest edition OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 30m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) flanked by road to NW and land drain to W. Clearly visible as oval enclosure with a distinctive fosse on an aerial photograph (GSI R518/517, 16/04/1974) NNE-SW. No visible surface trace of monument or land drain to W. Land improved and deep drain visible along roadside to NW.
