The National Monuments Service's description

At base of slight hollow in rolling pasture. Identified on aerial photographs (Ordnance Survey 2434/5; GSI R. 535/4, May 1977). Roughly circular area (dims. 12m N-S; 14m E-W) defined by an irregular earthen scarp (Wth 6m; H 0.6m). Recent reclamation works around the enclosure have obscured the edge of the monument. The interior is very slightly domed and clear of overgrowth.
