The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland atop low rise of ground overlooking stream 50m to N with good views in all directions. Holy Well (TS066-065----) 200m to SSW and church (TS066-068001-) 370m to S. No surface remains visible. According to the OS letters the stones of the castle were removed from the location in the early 1800s (O'Flanagan 1930, vol. 3, 37).
