The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture. Circular area (dims. 9m N-S; 10m E-W) defined by low bank (Wth 2.4m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.45m) SW-ESE. Breaches in bank at SW, WNW, ENE and E. Fosse (basal Wth 1.3m; overall Wth 3.3m; D 0.15m) traceable SW-NE and ENE-E, and is best defined W-N. Interior denuded of soil exposing roots of several trees planted within. Monument truncated by field boundary (long-axis ENE-WSW) and deep land drain (D c. 1.5m) across SSE-sector. Evidence of old water channels as a result of land drainage; Natural scarp of dry water channel (long-axis E-W) is 4.5m to N. Ditch barrow (TS066-061001-) located 2m to W.
