The National Monuments Service's description
On a slight SE-facing slope at the E end of a gently sloping rise, with natural ground level falling gently away W-N, in pasture. An enclosure (TS066-155001-) is visible 250m to the E. Roughly circular raised area (diam. 19.5m) defined by an earthen scarp (Wth 3-4.5m; H 1.5-2m). No trace of a fosse is visible at ground level. Livestock have eroded a slight step into the scarp midway up the sides. An irregular ramp (Wth 3m) at W may mark the position of the original entrance. The interior has been raised to compensate for the underlying natural slope with the N half sloping slightly facing S while the S half is level. The interior is clear of overgrowth.
