The National Monuments Service's description
Extending across a slight SSE-facing slope in reclaimed pasture overlooking slightly lower ground to the S. A ditch barrow (TS065-072----) is located c. 150m to the S. Not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch map but visible in an aerial photograph (Bruff No. 5/2082) as a linear feature (L c. 500m; Wth c. 10m). No definite visible surface trace at ground level. This feature skirts the N side of an area known to have been a lake in the past and may be an early route way across the area.
