The National Monuments Service's description
In gently undulating wet pasture. Raised circular area (diam. 10m) enclosed by a gently sloping earthen scarp (Wth 4-5m; ext. H 0.8-1.2m) and a broad external fosse (Wth at base 3m; overall Wth 4.5m; D 0.2m). The fosse is not visible at ground level NW-SW and a WNW-ESE orientated modern field drain lies along the line of the fosse NW-NE. The interior slopes slightly facing E and is clear of overgrowth.
