The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a very slight rise at the centre of a circular clearing (diam. c. 60m) in c. 10 year old coniferous forestry. Identified on an aerial photograph (Ordnance Survey 2430/1). Circular area (diam. 8m) defined by a shallow fosse (overall Wth 1.8m; Wth at base 0.6m; D 0.15m) with traces of an external earthen bank (overall Wth 1.7m). The interior is level and clear of overgrowth.
