The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a NW-facing slope. The remains of a circular area (dims. 22m NW-SE; 19m NE-SW) defined by scarp (Wth 2.5m; H 1.55m) and fosse (basal Wth 0.5m; overall Wth 2.65-3.2m; D 0.6-1.6m) SW-N-NE, the fosse has been re-cut SW-W-N as drain and backfilled N-NE forming a modern causeway. The monument has been truncated by a tertiary road running NE-SW across the SE sector. The scarp is aligned with drainage material excavated from the fosse, which forms a bank-like appearance (overall Wth 5.45m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.4m) in the SW sector. There is a gap in the scarp (Wth 2.5m) at WNW and a gap in the exterior of the fosse (Wth 3.5m) at WSW. Despite the long grass in the interior at time of inspection the suface appears uneven as a result of ground disturbance.
