The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a steep S-facing slope. A substantial, roughly oval area (dims. 99m E-W; 91m N-S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth at top 2m; overall Wth 8m; int. H 0.55m; ext. H 1m) visible intermittently between dense vegetation and is reduced to scarp (Wth 3.15m; H 2.1m) around the S sector, and a fosse (basal Wth 2.5m; overall Wth 7.1m; D 0.8m) is visible in places between vegetation. Gaps at ESE and SSE may be modern. The interior slopes down steeply to S. A low earthen boundary (Wth at top 1.5m; overall Wth 3.65m; H at W-side 0.6m; H at E-side 0.5m), running c. NNW-SSE, bisects the interior (dims. 90m N-S; 51m E-W in W-half and 91m N-S; 48m E-W in E-half). A stream flanks the W side of the boundary and there is a pond in the centre of the interior. According to local information, black soil and heat shattered stones were discovered in this area, which may indicate a possible fulacht fiadh. Flat stones covering a chamber also reported to have been discovered, which may indicate a souterrain.
