The National Monuments Service's description
In improved, level pasture. Identified as a circular cropmark on an aerial photograph (CUCAP AVL 72, 15/07/1968) defined by an inner and outer fosse. The NW quadrant is not clearly defined and a former field boundary appears to have run roughly E-W along the N edge of the monument. It is not visible at ground level.
