The National Monuments Service's description

According to Brennan (1854-5, vol.3, 215) there is a 17th-century graveslab decorated with a cross in relief in the 'church-yard of Dragan' (TS063-016003-). It is described as having a partially legible latin inscription in raised Roman characters, which reads: HIC JACET THADEUS GEANKAGH O'MEAGHER GENEROSUS QUI ORBIT 19 DECEMBRIS A.D. 1627 CUJUS AIAE PROPITIETUR DEUS (ibid.). This graveslab is unlocated within the graveyard. Another 16th/17th graveslab (TS063-016005-), with a short illegible inscription, is located immediately N of the E end of the S wall of the ruined medieval church (TS063-016001-).
