The National Monuments Service's description
In describing the glebeland of the parish of Drangan, the Civil Survey (1654-6) mentions 'one thatcht house with a garden at Drangan both belonging to the sd Imppriacon' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 160), implying that this house belonged to the church and therefore is likely to be close to the medieval church (TS063-016001-) which is at the E end of the village in Knockroe townland. The house is unlocated within the townland of Knockroe.
