The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, in a small valley, on a gentle ESE-facing slope. A fulachta fia (TS063-006----) lies c. 400m to ESE. A semi-circular mound (dims. 18.35m ESE-WNW; 10.15m NNE-SSW) of black soil and heat shattered stones. The mound is defined by a gentle scarp (max. Wth 8.85m; max. H 0.85m) WNW-N-ESE and truncated by a linear drain (Wth 4m; D at least 2m) (long axis ESE-WNW) across SSW-sector. The semi-circular edge of the mound (dims. 5.75m ESE-WNW; 3.5m NNE-SSW; H 0.2m) survives SSW of a land drain.
