The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on a S-facing slope. An oval area (dims. c. 40m N-S; c. 35m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth at top 1.7m; overall Wth 6.9m; int. H 0.75m; ext. H 1.8m) which is higher (H 2.8m) externally in the N quadrant, and a fosse (basal Wth 2.5m; overall Wth 6.4m; D 0.85m) which is deeply cut (D c. 3m) in the N quadrant. There is a possible causewayed entrance (Wth of gap in bank 2m; Wth of causeway over fosse 5.5m) at NW. The interior is choked with overgrowth and access is limited to its perimeter. A spring and stream mentioned by Cahill (1982, R113) were not visible due to the impenetrable overgrowth.
