The National Monuments Service's description

According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 'Ballylosky', which was under the proprietorship of ‘Thomas Butler of Kilkonnell Esqr. Irish Papist’ in 1640, there was ‘a Corne Mill w[hi]ch hath Water onely in Winter (Simington 1931, vol.1, 164). This watermill is unlocated within the townlands of Ballylusky and Shankyle.
