In improved pasture, to E and S of ringfort (TS062-120001-). On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map a number of linear earthworks are depicted extending from the ringfort, including two parallel lines extending NE-SW for c. 60-65m from the E and SE quadrant, possibly representing a raised or hollow area (Wth c. 20m), which then extends NNW-SSE running c. 20m W of and parallel to the field boundary E of the ringfort. Another line representing a bank or scarp, aligned NNW-SSE, extends SSE of the S quadrant up to the S field boundary. These earthworks are depicted on the 2nd 1903-04 ed. OS 6-inch map as depression extending SE of the ringfort and a bank running SSE of the S quadrant. The earthworks are visible as a gentle, curvilinear scarp extending eastward from the ringfort which appears to relate to the causewayed entrance to the ringfort, at the base of the scarp there is a gentle depression containing a poorly drained area to the S with a shallow pond at the E end. S of the ringfort there are gentle undulations but no clearly defined features.
