In fallow tillage, on a generally level area. An enclosure (TS062-104----) is located c. 150m to the NW. it is depicted on the 1903-04 ed. OS 6-inch map as circular area (diam. c. 34m) with a field boundary running NW-SE along the W edge. The enclosure had been levelled when visited by Cahill (1982) in 1975. It is visible as a roughly circular cropmark on an aerial photography (ASIAP (40) 2, 03/08/1996) but is not visible at ground level.
