The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle E-facing slope in undulating terrain, under pasture. Townland boundary runs E-W along N edge of ringfort. Roughly circular enclosure (diam. 31.5m N-S; E-W not obtainable) defined by a gravelly clay bank with rounded-top (Wth 6.3m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.29-1.7m) and ext. fosse (Wth 2.5m; D 0.47) which was waterlogged in N and E quadrant at time of inspection. Trees and scrub growing along bank and fosse and scrub in interior in N sector. Ring-feeder formerly in centre of S sector, ground around which is quite badly poached. Bank in W quadrant has been removed and exterior quarried creating a depression which is currently waterlogged. Outer face of bank has been badly eroded by cattle.
