The National Monuments Service's description
In fallow tillage, on a NE-facing slope 200m below the summit of Knockapharson hill (572ft) and just above a 500ft contour. It is depicted on the 2nd (1903-04) ed. OS 6-inch map as an oval area (c. 52m E-W; c. 48m N-S). According to Cahill (1982) the enclosure was levelled in c. 1955. It is visible as a roughly circular cropmark on an aerial photograph taken in 1996 (ASIAP (39) 27, 03/08/1996). It is not visible at ground level. There is a smaller enclosure (TS062-160----) to the c. 40m to the NE.
