The National Monuments Service's description
On a gentle E-facing slope with river running N-S immediately E and SE of ringfort, in gently undulating reclaimed pasture. Of this roughly circular ringfort (diam. 46.4m NNE-SSW; 47m E-W) only SW quadrant, which is incorporated in a field boundary, remains intact, the rest has been levelled and bank reduced to a broad, gently sloping scarp (H 0.64m over 4m). The SW quadrant is defined by a bank (Wth 7.3m; int. H 1.2m; ext. H 2.3m) and fosse (Wth 1.6m; D 1.22m). The monument is visible on an aerial photograph c. 1970s (CUCAP AYO 80) with an enclosing bank and is quite overgrown with scrub, as was the surrounding field.
