In improved, yet rough pasture, on a SE-facing slope with excellent views of Slievenamon to S. Earthworks (TS062-010002-) to E and W and a henge (TS062-010003-) abuts c. 3.5m to the SE. A multivallate ring-barrow consisting of a roughly circular area (diam. 50m) defined by scant remains of a bank (overall Wth 6.4m; Wth at top 1.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.5m) which is best preserved from SE-S-SW and is reduced intermittently to scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.45m) SW-SE; a well-preserved fosse (overall Wth 5.4m; basal Wth 3.0m; D 0.4m) with causewayed (Wth 4.5m) at ESE; intermittent remains of bank (overall Wth 4.1m; Wth at top 1.6m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6m) from NNW-E-SSW which is levelled from SSW-W-NNW; and in the SE-S-SSW sector there is also another fosse (overall Wth 3.65m; basal Wth 1.25m; D 0.2m); bank (overall Wth 3.7m; Wth at top 1.6m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.3m); fosse (overall Wth 3.7m; basal Wth 1.3m; D 0.2m); bank (overall Wth 4.4m; Wth at top 1.9m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 0.35m) and the possible remains of an outermost fosse. The interior slopes to the SE and together with parts of the exterior appears to have been modified by drainage activities. The innermost bank has been flattened and has spread into the interior in the W sector. A raised area (dims. 36m ESE-WNW; 14m NNE-SSW) within the N sector, which is defined by scarp (Wth 1.5m; H 0.35m) to S, is possibly a result of drainage activity. A leat (Wth c. 4m; long axis NNW-SSE) intersects the inner fosse at SW and NW.
