The National Monuments Service's description
On a NW-facing slope, in a dip in the landscape between Palmer's Hill to the SW and Ballyknock Hill to the NE, in improved pasture. There are good views over the plains of Cashel to the NW. An upright limestone standing stone (0.4m x 0.27m; H 1.3m), rectangular in plan and orientated ENE-WSW. The stone leans towards the SSE and all faces have evidence of cattle wearing. There is a depression around the base of the stone due to cattle erosion. (O'Brien 2006, 16-17).
