The National Monuments Service's description
According to the Civil Survey (1654-6) in 1640 in 'Kyltallagh' there was 'a thatcht house' under the proprietorship of 'James Earle of Ormond' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 202). This house is unlocated within Kilsallagh townland.
