The National Monuments Service's description
In improved, undulating pasture, on a low rise. Slight trace of an oval area (dims. c. 33m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by remains of levelled scarp (Wth 5m; H 0.5m) N-SE, reduced to a lower scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.15m) SW-N. Wooden fence (long axis c. E-W) traverses S-sector. Visible as a semi-circular cropmark c. W-ESE on aerial photograph (ASIAP 03/08/1998, (36) 13-15). A sketch plan and sections drawn in 1954 show a roughly circular area defined by scarp NW-N-SE and slight bank from SE-W-NW; fosse and outer bank (OS Field Memorandums). It is similarly depicted on the 1952-54 ed. OS 6-inch map (map overall diam. c. 82m N-S; c. 70m E-W). Cahill (1982,DR373) states monument levelled and according to local information, monument levelled over 30 years ago.
