In dry area of poorly drained, level pasture. Faint trace of bank on N-side and deep land drain cut along field boundary on S-side. According to local information this monument was levelled in the 1980s. This monument is depicted on the 1st (1840) and 2nd (1952-54) ed. OS 6-inch map as a sub-rectangular area (map overall diam. c. 60m N-S; 86m E-W) defined by a bank and was drawn as such in a sketch plan and sections in 1954 (OS Field Memorandums). A field boundary is depicted on the OS 6-inch map running along the outer edge of the S bank.
