The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a gentle SSE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 28m E-W; 26m N-S) defined by earthen bank (Wth top 2.5m; Total 7.35m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.55m); fosse (basal Wth 1.75m; overall Wth 9.75m; Dth 1.3m) W-SSE, is waterlogged E-SSE and modified by partial backfilling SSE-W; outer bank (Wth at top 2.5m; total Wth 5.05m; int. H 1.75m; ext. H 0.7m) is flat-topped where best preserved E-SSE, is badly disturbed S-W and is incorporated into densely overgrown townland boundary W-E. Deeply eroded causewayed entrance (Wth 3.5m) at SSE. Berm (Wth 10m at W; Wth 12m at NW) E-NW is truncated by a field boundary E-S, a very deep drain S-SW and is defined by a low scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.7m) S-W. Low field boundary (long-axis E-W; L 12m) extends across berm at W. Berm is defined by a bank (Wth at top 2m; total Wth 5.35m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 1.05m) W-NW, which is stone faced on the exterior. Berm levelled NW-E and traces of levelled bank, depicted on 1840 OS 6-inch map as field boundary, may be a continuation of outer bank NW-E. The outer fosse (basal Wth 1.7m; overall 3.65m; Dth 0.65m) is best preserved from W-NW, possibly re-cut as deep drain S-SW, causewayed at SW for an entrance (Wth 4.5m) possibly modern, and largely obscured by field boundary which sits inside shallow fosse SW-W. Interior has a sharp SSE-facing slope.
