The National Monuments Service's description

Incorporated into the upper masonry courses of the N angle on the external face of the NW boundary wall of St. John's graveyard (TS061-025035-) with Ager's Lane. The graveyard encloses St. John's C of I Cathedral which is on the site of a medieval church (TS061-025013-). A chamfered limestone jambstone (dims. 0.70m x 0.26m) with a plain stop.
