The National Monuments Service's description
The OS letters refer to an inquisition dated to the 9th year of the reign of King James (1611) which states that Patraick Conway, late a Burgess of Cashel, was seized of the the land of the former Franciscan friary, including 'two messuages in Friar's Street where the said Patrick Conway had a mill' (O'Flanagan, Rev. M. (ed.), 1930, 145). This mill is unlocated on Friar Street.
