The National Monuments Service's description
Excavations in 2001 revealed the plan of the 'clubhouse' (TS060-097007-), a late 17th/early 18th-century house. However, it also revealed that an extension to the rear of the house reused the site of an earlier building with clay-bonded stone walls. Pottery dating from the 17th and 18th centuries was found associated with this building.
