The National Monuments Service's description

On the N-facing slope of a gentle hill in undulating pastureland. Ballynahinch church (TS060-059004-) and graveyard (TS060-059007-) are located in the field immediately to the E. According to a local source this field was always called the church field, presumably the eastern field boundary is a more recent addition. A large irregular enclosure (dims. 80m N-S; 36m E-W), sloping to the N with the natural fall of slope, enclosed by an earthen bank (Wth 2m crest; 5m base; int. H 0.27m; ext. H 0.34m). At the NE angle there is a possible house (TS060-059011-) incorporated in the N and E bank of the large enclosure.
