In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope. A possible enclosure (TS060-030001-) is located c. 40m to the SSW and a small mound (TS060-030003-) is located c. 25m to the S-SE. Depicted on the 1906 edition OS 6-inch map as a long mound (L c. 48.5m E-W; Wth c. 10-14m N-S) with a northward projection (L c. 13m; Wth c. 6m) at the E end. A field boundary encloses the monument W-N, the field boundary may have originally continued to curved in a rough semi-circle S of the moument where a curving scarp is depicted, the scarp falling towards the E.
