The National Monuments Service's description
In generally level pasture, on a very gentle NNW-facing slope. Land also falls to SE from monument around SE-arc. Sub-circular area (dims. 88m N-S; 64m E-W) truncated by field boundary (long axis NW-SE; Wth 1.2m)) across WSW-sector. Monument is defined by remains of a low bank (total Wth 5.7m; Wth at top 0.7m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.55m) which has been reduced to a scarp (Wth 4.5m; max. H 0.9m) intermittently at NE and E-S. Remains of levelled bank reduced to scarp (Wth 2.8m; H 0.45m) WSW-WNW in field to WSW. Causeway (Wth 3.2m) at E forms a ramp up into interior. Modern access (Wth 5m) has been cut into scarp at ESE. Possible fosse (basal Wth 1.2m; overall Wth 6.15m; Dth 0.15m) evident at NE only. Interior is generally level with a very slight tilt downslope to NNW with prevalent slope. Semi-circular depression (dims. 7.5m NW-SE; 12m NE-SW; D 0.55m) adjoins exterior of monument at SE. Earthwork (TS060-138---) adjoins to SW and enclosure (TS060-015----) is c. 40m to WSW.
