The National Monuments Service's description

Within a small, roughly square, area in the W section of a graveyard (TS059-113001-). The remains of a rectangular church (dims. 17m E-W; 5m N-S) are defined by the lower courses of collapsed walls. The masonry is roughly coursed rubble limestone with small pinning stones, with little mortar surviving. The E wall (T 1.25m; int. H 0.35m; ext. H 1.3m) is best preserved and possibly rebuilt. There is a short portion of intact masonry (T 1.1m; int. H 0.18m; ext. H 0.9m) in the centre, and a low, sod-covered collapsed section at the W end of the S wall, but the exterior stone facing has fallen out at the E end. The W wall (T at top 0.75m; T overall 6.85m; int. H 0.9m; ext. H 0.75m; L 8m) is well formed on the interior but is obscured by sod-covered stone collapse banked up on the exterior and also at the W end of the N wall. Low courses of the N wall (T 2.2m; int. H 0.5m; ext. H 0.3m) are evident at the E end of the N wall. The interior level is higher than the exterior for the most part, indicating that collapse has fallen inward and is now grass-covered. The E end is backfilled and cut by 18th and 19th century graves, including the oldest inscribed headstone of Bourke dating to 1731. A bullaun stone (TS059-164----) lies c. 35m to NNE.
