The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope. Identified as an enclosure on an aerial photograph (CUCAP 07/10/1969 and ASIAP (116) 26, 23/08/2000). It consists of an oval area (dims. 26m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.15m), fosse (Wth 5.7m; D 0.1m) and very scant remains of a possible outer bank (Wth 7.2m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.13m) from SE-W and also at the NNW. The fosse is evident from NE-W and NW-NNE. It is not readily visible where a dry, sinuous drain (long axis c. NW-SE) intersects with it at the NNE-NE. There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 6m) at the W.
