The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, on top of a N-S ridge. Sub-oval area (dims. 28m NE-SW; 24m NW-SE) defined by scarp (Wth 3m; H 0.95m) and outer fosse (Wth 6.1m; D 0.2m), both visible from SSW-E. An indistinct gap (Wth 1.2m) may be an original entrance. The fosse is backfilled at the NNE where there may be a possible causewayed entrance. The exterior of the scarp shows signs of slippage, probably due to cattle erosion. The interior has a smooth surface and tends to slope down to the SE. There are traceable remains of a sub-rectangular area (dims. 18m NNE-SSW; 16m ESE-WNW) adjoining the monument to the NNW; open to the E. It is defined by traces of a levelled bank extending from the enclosure at NNW and sweeps from here in curvilinear form N-NE.
